Designer for Apparel with Global Brand Collaboration
UNIQUE BY FH is the local brand that belongs to COMPAGNIE MAURICIENNE DE TEXTILE. At CMT I was responsible for designing seasonal collections and fashion drops for prominent international brands such as WE Fashion, Zalando Labels, Urban Outfitters, Topshop, Reserved, Zara, and Unique By Fashion House.
My role involved interpreting major trends while adhering to the specific guidelines of each brand. I worked directly with clients, graphic designers, prototype departments, and buyers to bring concepts to life, overseeing the development of samples and ensuring they met client expectations.
I also traveled to London and Poland for marketing presentations and client meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Collection Design and Development
Designed seasonal collections and fashion drops in line with major trends and the individual guidelines of each brand.
Brand Collaboration
Worked directly with brands including WE Fashion, Zalando Labels, Urban Outfitters, Topshop, Reserved, Zara, and Unique By Fashion House to understand and deliver on their design briefs.
Sample Development
Supervised the development of initial samples, ensuring that they met the design and quality expectations before final client approval.
Team Collaboration
Collaborated closely with graphic designers, prototype departments, and buyers to ensure smooth production processes and accurate design execution.
Client Presentations and Marketing Trips
Participated in marketing trips to London and Poland, presenting collections to clients and securing feedback for future projects.
